WantSignal is a demand-intelligence service that analyzes publicly available and authorized data sources to identify emerging consumer interests, trends, products, services, and regional demand signals. This Privacy Policy explains what information WantSignal may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
1. Information We Collect
- Publicly available content and trend data. WantSignal may process public posts, keywords, trend information, engagement indicators, and similar public signals from platforms that permit such access.
- Authorized platform data. If a user connects or authorizes a third-party account, WantSignal may receive information made available through that platform's official API and the permissions granted by the user.
- Technical information. Web-server logs may contain IP address, browser type, operating system, requested pages, timestamps, and similar diagnostic information.
- Interaction information. WantSignal may record aggregated or pseudonymous information about clicks, viewed markets, viewed demand signals, and outbound product or affiliate links.
- Information you provide directly. If you contact WantSignal, we may retain information you voluntarily provide.
2. Threads and Meta Platform Data
WantSignal may use Meta's Threads API to search for and retrieve public Threads content using authorized functionality such as keyword search. WantSignal uses this information to identify and measure aggregate interest in topics, products, brands, services, and other demand signals.
WantSignal does not use Threads API access to publish content, delete user content, manage replies, or access private messages unless such functionality is added in the future with appropriate user authorization and this Privacy Policy is updated accordingly.
Data obtained through Meta products is handled in accordance with applicable Meta Platform Terms, developer requirements, and permissions granted to the WantSignal application.
3. How We Use Information
- Identify and rank consumer-demand and trend signals.
- Measure whether demand for a topic differs across geographic markets.
- Confirm trends across multiple authorized data sources.
- Improve WantSignal's classification, scoring, and recommendation systems.
- Display aggregated trend information on WantSignal websites and applications.
- Match demand signals with relevant products, services, or merchants.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and operate the service.
- Respond to support, privacy, or legal inquiries.
4. Affiliate Links and Commerce
WantSignal may display links to third-party merchants or services. Some links may be affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase or transaction, WantSignal may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
Purchases made on third-party websites are governed by the privacy policies and terms of those third parties. WantSignal does not receive your complete payment-card information from those merchants.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
WantSignal may use essential cookies, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the service, remember preferences, measure usage, prevent abuse, and understand how users interact with the site. If non-essential advertising or analytics cookies are introduced, applicable consent requirements will be followed.
6. How We Share Information
WantSignal does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed:
- To service providers that help host, secure, maintain, or analyze the service.
- To third-party platforms when required to provide an authorized integration.
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
- When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of WantSignal or others.
- As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.
7. Data Retention
WantSignal retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operation of the service, historical trend analysis, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
Raw platform-derived data may be retained for a shorter period than aggregated or derived statistical signals. Where a platform imposes a specific deletion or retention requirement, WantSignal will follow that requirement.
8. Data Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of personal information associated with your use of WantSignal or an authorized third-party integration. Instructions are available on the WantSignal Data Deletion page.
Requests may also be sent to admin@tavaress.com. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or data.
9. Security
WantSignal uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children's Privacy
WantSignal is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If such information is identified, WantSignal will take reasonable steps to delete it.
11. International Data
WantSignal may process public trend information originating from multiple countries. Data may be processed or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where service providers operate, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.
12. Third-Party Services
WantSignal may link to or integrate with third-party websites, APIs, platforms, marketplaces, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. WantSignal is not responsible for the privacy practices of unaffiliated third parties.
13. Changes to This Policy
WantSignal may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
